Perm Mayor Eduard Sosnin met with representatives of the Yun Chou company (Hohhot city, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China). The delegation included the company's president Sheng Lizhong, the company's vice president Alexander Chukhlebov, and the head of the Yun Chou representative office in St. Petersburg Darima Yaptueva.
It should be noted that Perm is consistently developing the eastern direction of international cooperation. Hohhot is already the fourth Chinese partner city with which the Perm authorities are building strong mutually beneficial relations. Within the framework of cooperation, joint projects, exchange of experience and implementation of initiatives aimed at developing the economy and social sphere are discussed. Such interaction opens up new opportunities for residents of both cities, promotes cultural exchange and strengthens friendly ties.
– We are developing cooperation not only in the economic, but also in the humanitarian sphere. Last year, an agreement was signed between Hohhot Secondary School No. 2 and Perm Lyceum No. 4, which opened up opportunities for educational exchanges. This year, an online meeting of library specialists from our cities took place, where they shared their professional experience, Eduard Sosnin emphasized in the Telegram channel.
During the meeting, Eduard Sosnin and Sheng Lizhong discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation. In particular, they discussed new production projects in Perm, which can create additional jobs for city residents and contribute to the development of the local economy.
The Yun Chou technology company is engaged in the import of cardboard and wood, the export of equipment and cars, logistics, provides engineering and technical consultations, after-sales maintenance, and a full range of services for the pulp and paper industry. Since the end of 2021, Yun Chou has been actively cooperating with the Perm Pulp and Paper Company. In September 2022, the Russian technology company Yun Chou ARVM was established, which employs 13 Russian citizens (in St. Petersburg and Perm).
